Project Overview
This project involved the redesign of the website for Griset Medicare Solutions, led by Dan Griset, an independent Medicare agent. The site serves seniors who need support enrolling in Medicare, aiming to simplify an often overwhelming process.
Objective / Challenges
The original website presented several issues: the intake form was lengthy, non-responsive, and hard to navigate—especially on mobile devices. Additionally, Dan could not edit the website on his own due to its custom build. He also needed to maintain his existing brand colors to match printed marketing materials already in use.
My Role & Process
As the lead designer and developer, I oversaw the full redesign from strategy through implementation. I began by evaluating the site's usability and defining the core needs for both the client and his users. I proposed a complete rebuild using a customizable WordPress theme, enabling Dan to manage content easily without developer support.
I redesigned the intake form with a user-friendly, mobile-responsive layout. The new form focused only on essential contact details and incorporated conditional logic to deliver more targeted user data. During development, I ensured brand consistency and accessibility across devices. I also provided post-launch support and training so Dan could confidently manage his site moving forward.
Final Outcome
The redesigned site improved user experience dramatically, particularly on mobile. The streamlined intake form led to a 20% increase in conversions, and Dan gained the ability to update his site with ease. The project successfully balanced functionality, usability, and brand alignment—enhancing both the user journey and administrative control.

For the redesign, I focused on keeping the content concise and on the value of getting a personal free evaluation from this independent agent with years of experience.
I also included call to actions within the content and after value, statements to get users to engage with the site. The internal pages were based on a mobile-first approach with anchor links on chunks on the information.
